A popular houseplant in the genus Adiantum, there are many species commonly sold with a reputation for being humidity-loving, “difficult divas”. One critical point of maidenhair care: given the right light, the soil MUST remain evenly moist at all times. This means you must be vigilant in observing the moisture status of the soil, the moment it feels just a bit lighter than “fully moistened” soil, it’s time to water again.
